If you’re running a screen printing line, you know the struggle of getting ink to cure fast without accidentally frying your materials. That’s exactly why we built these 360mm carbon fiber tubes. We packed 1000W of power into a compact footprint. It gives you a concentrated hit of heat that goes straight for the solvents in the ink, leaving your substrate safe and sound. The secret is in the heat. Most quartz lamps just blast the surface with aggressive energy. But these tubes use far-infrared (FIR). Instead of just scorching the top, the heat actually sinks deeper into the ink layer. It means the bottom of the ink dries at the same speed as the top. No more guesswork. Just a clean, uniform dry every time. Why carbon fiber? We used a carbon fiber element tucked inside a quartz envelope. Here’s the thing: metal coils tend to sag or warp when they get hot and cool down over and over. Carbon fiber doesn’t do that. It handles the stress way better, which keeps your heat distribution steady across the whole 360mm length. The quartz sleeve is there to keep the guts of the heater safe from the ink splatters and chemical fumes that just come with the territory in a print shop. One quick tip, though. If your shop’s ventilation is a bit lacking, heat can build up in the housing. Make sure your cooling fans are up to the task. If the quartz overheats, you’re just cutting the life of the tube short. Getting it into your workflow These are basically drop-in replacements for most standard curing stations. They fit into tight spots easily. Plus, since carbon fiber heats up way faster than ceramic, you aren’t standing around waiting for the machine to warm up. If you can, hook them up to a PID controller. It lets you dial in the temperature zones so you don’t end up with those annoying “hot spots” on your garments or plastic parts. And a little piece of advice from experience: don’t run these at 100% wattage all day, every day. If you back it off to about 80%, your tubes will last a lot longer. It’s all about finding that sweet spot between raw power and longevity.
