We built the R7s 12mm carbon fiber lamp for those moments when you just need a massive amount of heat, and you need it right now. We’re talking 2500W packed into a tiny quartz tube. It’s designed for industrial setups where you can’t afford to wait around for things to warm up. Fitting it in The R7s snap-in connector is a lifesaver here. You just pop it in. No messing around with complicated soldering or weird wiring. It’s a simple drop-in replacement for your old arrays, which makes the swap-out fast. But a word of warning: 2500W is a lot of power. Just make sure your sockets are built for that kind of heat. If they aren’t, you’re looking at a melted housing, and nobody wants that. Why carbon fiber? Most people are used to tungsten coils, but we went with carbon fiber. Here’s why: it handles the “on-off-on-off” cycle of industrial work much better without burning out. Plus, it puts out medium-to-long wave infrared radiation. We wrap the whole thing in high-purity quartz. This keeps the vacuum tight and stops the glass from cracking when the lamp expands as it heats up. Where this actually helps You’ll mostly see these in PET blowing, plastic welding, or curing lines. Because of how the carbon fiber emits heat, it actually sinks deeper into materials. If you’re working with thicker substrates, this is your best bet. The catch There is a trade-off. This much energy creates an incredible amount of heat. If your cooling system isn’t up to the task, that heat will soak right back into the terminals and kill the lamp early. Keep your airflow strong and your reflectors clean. You want that energy hitting your workpiece, not baking your machine frame.
